K-pop for T-day? Who doesn’t want to make a K-pop music video over Thanksgiving?
Kick it We’re kicking off Friday, Nov 22nd, at 9:30 PM PT. Project ends Sun Dec 1st, midnight EST.
Let's break it down Min made a new song. It needs a music video. We made a base video track, just to split it into parts. You can create a part of our larger ai video.
Quickstart Click on any of the planned shot (Example ) Click on GENERATE to add your own take
We'll select the best take for each shot, and submit Sunday
Videos like this expand with 10zebra to be a collaborative production. Each panel of the storyboard is a segment on a timeline, and acts like a media folder of video.
You can try a prompt with text-to-video. If its not right, you can tweak the prompt and try again. Often another take with the same prompt is sensible. For this project we recommend Flyper as a starting point.
The default text-to-image would generate a video like the one on the lower left.
Let's unpack the screen above. The prompt is set to generate using Text to Video with "Flyper." This will interpret your prompt with text to image using Flux Pro. Then provide the image to Haiper's for image to video generation. If you would rather use Luma or Runway as your video engine, then switch to "Fluma" or "Funway."
If you are particularly fond of another image generator (Midjourney, anyone?), or created an asset by some other means (eyes on you, creative partners with early access), you can drag any image or video into "Add take." Images will turn into a very short ken burns video. Typically, the next step is then to animate that image to have better motion dynamics with one of the models shown below.
The selected model "1st Frame Luma" would take the first frame of the video (e.g an uploaded image), and animate it with novel motion dynamics from the prompt. This is also a handy way to leverage a nice composition from a previous text to video generation, but to roll the dice for better motion dynamics. "Camera orbit right" is a great three-word prompt for Luma. "action movie" is a nice phrase to append after "woman breakdancing" on Runway or Haiper.
So what should I do ... actually? Find a shot that you feel you can improve. Add to it. Want to chat with other creators:? We got you on discord and whatsapp.
Pragmatic HowTo Login Click on this project Click on any panel in the board (Shortcut to skip #2) Click on GENERATE
Rewrite a previous prompt (or write a new one)
How will we address style consistency?
Use Flyper on platform and end your prompts with "blue and yellow color grade, Super 8mm".
Some of us are also messing with style in Midjourney like this:
--ar 16 : 9 --cref https: //s.mj.run/LEyd9FHs8r8 --cw 60 --sref https://s.mj.run/LEyd9FHs8r8 --sw 30 --style raw
But wait, I want to do my own thing ... Ok. Here is an empty template.
You can fork it, and work on your own. You will be the director and have more control.
But it's more fun to Jam together. And you can always fork the community reel later, and learn from what others did.
We are running this competition for Min. As a contributing member of this project you have rights to sync with this music and post to your socials. We are also sharing with each other so its fair game to rework any of the content put into the project.
Q1: Is this paid work? Not really. There is a $1000 prize that we could win, and would award to the best generations - proportional to what got used. There might be a paid gig with the band, but no promises.
This is more for fun, and we get access to the music, pre-release, and rights to put it on our own socials. We also agree that it is fine for this community to remix content and post that on socials as well.
Q2: Who is running this project? This is a collaboration between Machine Cinema and 10zebra.
Q3: How do I get more credits? Show us what you did for this project (send a url to a shot you worked on to hello@10zebra.com and mention this competition) and we can issue more. Soon you will also be able to buy credits at pricing on par with the major platforms.
